In light of the difficult conditions that Lebanon is witnessing and in light of the economic collapse associated with the spread of the corona virus which affected the educational sector, overthrew our academic year, and put us in the spiral of the unknown, the students of official certificates from various regions and Lebanese districts have united under one slogan, and one cry: " Save our academic year! "
We have always been educated on fundamental principles, especially since education is a dedicated right before it is a commodity. However, we have been plagued by accumulated crises, showing clear disparities in our society, and depriving hundreds of students of their right to education, for many reasons.
With that being said seniors from the North, the South, Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and Bekaa have joined forces to submit demands that guarantee fairness and equal opportunities amongst students. We’re shedding a light on the psychological effects and the devastated mental state that the numerous consecutive crisis have left us with, which unquestionably call for the cancellation of official exams.
