The Need:

Art is not just a hobby; it is a fundamental pillar of human existence. Since the dawn of civilization, art has shaped our society, preserved our history, and healed our minds.

Our ancient heritage deeply understands this power. In the Vedas, 64 distinct art forms (Chauasthi Kalas) are explicitly detailed—ranging from music, painting, and sculpting to architecture, gardening, and even the art of conversation. These texts teach us a profound truth: every single human being is born with at least one of these 64 artistic traits within them.

Unfortunately, modern life has disconnected us from this heritage. We live in an era dominated by high stress, digital burnout, and rising mental health challenges. We have forgotten how to explore the innate art within us and exploit it for our mental wellness, rejuvenation, and positive thinking. Creative expression is a natural therapy that reduces anxiety, sharpens focus, and restores inner peace. To truly heal our society, we must build this foundation from the very beginning.

We are petitioning the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Health to:

- Mandate School Art Education & Appoint Art Teachers: Legally mandate comprehensive art education across all school boards (CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards). Every school must appoint at least one dedicated, qualified art teacher so that children can explore the art within them from early childhood.

- Launch a Nationwide Public Awareness Campaign: Educate the public on the 64 Vedic arts and their direct connection to modern mental well-being and cognitive development.

- Establish Community Wellness Art Hubs: Create accessible public spaces, workshops, and digital platforms where everyday citizens can explore, discover, and practice their hidden artistic traits.

- Integrate Creative Wellness into Workspaces: Encourage corporate and educational institutions to adopt "art-for-rejuvenation" breaks and modules.

Let us revive our ancient wisdom to heal our modern minds and nurture the next generation.

Please sign this petition to help build a healthier, more creative, and mentally resilient India.
