Karnataka HC Bans "All Religious Garments" Until Verdict
Teesha DebnathVisakhapatnam, India
Feb 10, 2022
Dear signers,
Karnataka government has banned all religious garments until the final verdict is given. And the chief justice of India refuses to hear plea, "the matter should not be increased" they say. The CJI also said that they seek to "protect the rights of every single community" rather than one section of the society.
It's important to know that except Sikhs and Muslims, most religions don't have garments that symbolise faith but rather other symbols. And it's not possible to protect the rights of each and every section of the community if you are foregoing the rights of one.
