Hijab likened to Bikini by a lokh sabha MP.

Dear signers,

It's important to know that Hijab is a symbol of faith just like a Sikh's turban and Hindu's tilak and yet these symbols are often accepted in a government institution when a Hijab is not under the guise of secularity. It is not harming anyone to see these symbols in schools as it only encourages religious tolerance and respect and consolidates what India prides itself on, that is, diversity. However what a Hijab is NOT is a piece of fashion that is not appropriate for certain institutions and that's how it has been likened to by a lokh sabha MP
