Dear all.

Today I received a letter dated 6th March stating that I am to be removed from the Sea Cadets as a staff volunteer on apparent grounds of "refusal to carry out instructions and observe Sea Cadet Regulations".

I am shocked beyond belief receiving this as I have not done such a thing. I am now a victim of constructive dismissal and paralysed on how to proceed from here.

I am now a victim of bullying and stigma from yet another organisation which I tried to settle myself in and be part of. All I ever want to do is serve and make a difference to many people, both young and old.

My heart is broken and evermore the reason to press forward with this petition on making this change to protect adults with learning disabilities and ensure they are able to carry out their duties without fear or rejection.
