Greetings and Prosperity to Malaysian Creative and Film Industry Employees. Thank you for all your support.
Today there are some things that need to be clarified so that industry players are not confused by the misleading statements of the mainstream media.
For the record, We Art Revolt is not an individual, we are an art activist who has existed since 2005 with skills and a deep interest in several pincipals of art, we created this movement independently. we are professional individuals in our respective fields. That is the real statement and we hope the media no longer states that Art Revolt is an individual.
And our purpose in supporting this solidarity movement is because it is time for a sustainable arts council to be created in dealing with and seeing the total development of the creative arts and film industry in Malaysia as what an arts council in developing countries have and do.
We also believe that Finas is more manageable and viable as a government agency if the position that has been changed to CEO is returned to a PTD and given the name as Director General as before so that the existence of the arts council to be created can work with Finas and meet the advantages and disadvantages of industry management on Malaysian creative and film industry.
This is actually the struggle of this solidarity movement apart from asking KKMM to withdraw the existing Chairman and CEO post.
We are not beggars!
We work and we are the biggest catalyst in the national economy if led with the right strategy.
We would also like to touch on media statements from biased media journalists and that has no strong statement structure when it is carelessly written and stating that the creative industry employees as not appreciating Finas' initiatives. There are 10 initiatives mentioned.
Are we children do not know what initiatives made by Finas. Sorry! you should also resign and repent.
This movement is also not a fiction as stated by the Chairman of Finas that the movement and the statement we made is likened to be like a chained letter, we consider how shallow a Chairman's thinking when considering such issues as trivial and can be considered a chained letter. We're living now not in the present not in the past Mr. Chairman.
This is the voice of the Malaysian creative and film industry workers. Your salary is paid with the tax we pay!
Here we want the journalist to be responsible for stating the 10 initiatives that Finas has carried out along with evidence if the author knows what initiatives Finas has carried out over the past 10 months so that employees know the initiatives carried out. Now you do your work. go out and do some research!
Successful or not is not the media or the Chairman or CEO who decides.
We are also very grateful to the non-mainstream media outlets who write unbiased statements and are willing to interview some individuals who are fighting for this solidarity movement and find a point in conveying the truth. Thank you
Art Revolt
