It has been alleged that the 14 year old juvenile killers responsible for this horrific Homicide were out on bail for five previous armed robberies and a non fatal stabbing ! They should of never been on our streets ! If the justice system did their job right Angus may still be here! Its an absolute tragic situation and something needs to change!
These laws must change! Not only do these juvenile offenders deserve harsher penalties that actually reflect the severity of their actions , but others that have committed similar offences need to be given real repercussions for theirs as well . There is nothing at present to deter young offenders from continuing to show a total disregard for their actions , victims or lives they've taken or the families they destroy in doing so ! Too many teens are walking around on the streets with long wrap sheets simply due to their age. The legal system is clearly broken and in need of a complete overhaul if we are going to stop this from happening over an over again! Angus is gone , an that can't be undone . But we can make changes that will at least see young offenders think twice before they take another life, commit another crime and leave another family broken. A life sentence for a life taken!
