A letter has been written by the supporters of Dafonte Miller and it goes as follows.

Dafonte Miller needs and deserves our support NOW!!! On Friday June 26, 2020, Dafonte will once again face his attackers in court. The judge in the case stated at previous deliberations that he did not want crowds. COVID-19 has permitted the courts to operate in a way that denies the general public, Dafonte, his family, and supporters transparency and accountability.
We need the judge and his attackers (Michael and Christian Theriault to know that we have not forgotten what they did and how the court has acted in favour of the defendants on multiple occasions.
We want to remind Canada that on an international stage it will not be absolved of its history of systematic anti-black racism when the verdict is brought down. In support of Dafonte and in a show of solidarity for all survivors and victims of anti-black racism, we want you to ACT NOW:

2. Reach out to any media contacts you have and let them know that people are organizing around the world in support of Dafonte Miller. We need to obtain justice in the court system and the court of public opinion for Dafonte
3. On Friday, organizers are meeting outside the Courthouse in Oshawa located at 105 Bond St. E, Oshawa, ON L1G 0A2, Canada at 8:30 AM. Come out in solidarity with us. Social Distancing will be in full effect, so please wear your mask (cloth or surgical). If you cannot stay, drive by, beep your horn and let us know you hear and stand with us.
We are meeting outside the courthouse to watch the verdict together in solidarity with Dafonte Miller.
Please note that this just the beginning of a larger strategy against anti-black racism but right now, our focus is Dafonte. He needs our support more than ever.
