Maximum Fare for the Metro rail goes up....

Dear all, Your support to this petition has just been vindicated. The CMRL which inaugurated two more stretches on 25-May-2018 also allowed people to travel for free and about two lakh people used the metro over the weekend. However, the maximum fare has been increased to Rs70 (a distance of 25km from Airport to Central station) as a result of the new stretches, putting paid to any hope that people may have had about CMRL reducing fares for the metro. This strengthens the case for this petition and also why we need more signatures to make the Government rethink this rotten idea for converting suburban rail to metro.
