Dear supporters,

I have some great news - we secured an extension on our visa that will last us another three months! I got this news on September 30 - the day my visa expired. It was a scary few weeks and we were doing everything we could to secure this extension. I'm so relieved that we have more time.

I truly believe this happened because of your support. Technically, we didn't have any more extensions left on our visa but we were granted one nonetheless. The past weeks have been extremely hard as we continue fighting for fairness and justice, while also planning for the outcome that we lose our fight and are forced to leave. I'm exhausted.

Your support has been invaluable during this time. You've helped me be seen and heard. My ministerial intervention application is currently being considered by the Minister which is a huge win on it's own. I am feeling optimistic about the future and I hope to update with permanent good news soon!
