Hi all

I can’t believe we’ve almost reached 40,000 signatures on this petition. The love and support I’ve received from everyone in my community and wider Australia through this petition is the only thing that has kept me sane during these grueling weeks of uncertainty.

To be honest, I am terrified about the final outcome. I’m in despair at the moment as we sell our belongings and put money aside to leave the country. These aren’t mere things, but represent the life we created for ourselves through hard work and love. It’s unfair we are being forced to give up all of this becauses of the actions of a dodgy lawyer in the past.

On September 30, our visa expires. We have applied for another Ministerial Intervention and visa. Can you remind the Immigration Minister, Andrew Giles, about our case and ask him to let us stay?

I don’t even want to think about the prospect of leaving my animals. These are all rescued animals who put their faith and trust in me as their parent. I am inconsolable at the thought of having to leave them behind.

We have had lots of media coverage in the past few weeks and that wouldn’t have been possible without your support. These developments make me feel hopeful in my heart that the Immigratoin Minister will see us as the assets that we are to the community.
