Introducing Robin Wesman of East Kootenays, who has a horrible story to tell about Glyphosate and a few other herbicides.
Link to the Global food testing petition is at : https://www.change.org/p/healthcare-service-test-local-food-for-glyphosate?
The link to the video Robin mentions, about his kids getting seriously affected by the pesticide spray, is at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLzjsSF2b2g
IT has mostly Canadians (27 out of 28) identified as decision makers. That is because it initiated from Canada. Now we are trying to expose it to Americans. Only one US decision Maker has been entered - Seattle Councillor Kshama Sawant.
I have a meeting with a few Seattle-Tacoma residents and friends this weekend to discuss and brainstorm on ideas trying to popularize it in USA too.
FDA has apparently disclosed high glyphosate concentration found in some processed and packaged food. That is a welcome sign. We want local governments such as Municipalities and State governments, as well as possible healthcare service providers, to start testing some locally grown or sold foods, and not just processed or packaged ones, for glyphosate concentration and make all results public on a continuous, preferably monthly basis.
We would like you all, from the US as well as from Canada, to consider not only signing this new petition, but also help out by providing contact details of potential decision makers - such as Mayors or governors etc. I would need a) name, b) rank and organization and c) email address of such public servants that you consider to be in suitable position to allocate funds and start testing for local food for glyphosate content, for the people.
Thank you.
