With your help, we did it! Mixed-sex civil partnerships are now a legal reality in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
 
But there is more to do to build civil partnerships into a thriving and enduring institution.

We don’t want to keep going for the sake of it, but we do want to ensure that there are enough funds in place in 2020 to do the following:

- Keep supporting the community that has come together
- Make the case for civil partnerships in Scotland
- Respond to the results of the consultation on converting marriages to civil partnerships
- Engage with Office of National Statistics (ONS) figures on the take up of civil partnerships

However, the Equal Civil Partnerships campaign has almost exhausted its funds through its long campaign. To keep going – with a part-time staff of one – the campaign needs your help.
