Dear ECP community,

What a year it’s been! Civil partnerships for all are close to being a reality now the Prime Minister has made it official government policy. What a result.

But there’s one piece of unfinished business in 2018 before work continues in Parliament in 2019 to push through the change.

The Scottish Government’s consultation on the future of civil partnerships ends on Friday and they’re proposing two options - abolish or extend.

Anyone can complete the consultation whether you’re in Scotland or elsewhere, so let’s end the year by showing the strength of feeling in favour of progress.
