Dear Equal Civil Partnerships community,
 
We are delighted to let you know that the Government has just announced its commitment to extend civil partnerships to all.  
 
This is a really important step in the right direction, but we will only celebrate when legislation is agreed. The Government is still to confirm the date when the first different-sex civil partnership can take place, while it consults on the technical details. 

So please help the Government understand just how popular extending civil partnerships would be. Tweet them directly with your own message or use the following:
