Hi Everyone, 

Thanks again for your support. We smashed through 1000 and momentum is building. I have today been in touch with the CEO's of Screen Australia and the Screen Producers of Australia and hopefully they will join the push for this proposal to get quick approval. 

As you know this proposal is about unleashing the huge amount of dormant private sector funds on to the film and television industry. Its a win / win / win when you create a situation where the Govt doesnt have to put their hands into their pocket, investors receive $15 tax write off for every $10 invested and the result is that many more projects get funded.

Last year only 4% of funding came from the private sector. thats appalling. It should be around 25-40%. And this proposal will help achieve that. There is a massive amount of idle money out there waiting for the right opportunity and when approved this incentive will help create the next Golden Age of Australian Cinema. 

We have so much talent in this country that is yet to be appreciated. Lets make this happen.
