The inquest about Malak Thawley’s tragic and entirely avoidable death reminds us yet again how vulnerable widowers are still having to fight for the truth to be heard about what happened in our maternity hospitals to rob them of their wives and life partners. THE GOVERNMENT HAS A PROMISE TO KEEP WHICH THEY HAVE MADE TO WIDOWERS AND THEIR GRIEVING FAMILIES TO MAKE THIS BILL A PRIORITY WE CALL ON THE GOVERNMENT TO PUBLISH THE LEGISLATION AT ONCE AND SECURE A PLACE FOR ITS PASSAGE AS A MATTER OF DEEPEST URGENCY.
