Great news from Co Sligo today. Sligo County Council have followed the groundbreaking lead of Clare County Council, and support the call for Automatic Inquests into maternal deaths. In his interview with ocean radio Cllr Michael Clarke asks why a healthy person who dies in a road traffic accident can have an Automatic Inquest for their death but a healthy woman that dies giving birth cannot?
