Anne Ferris (vice-chairperson of the Justice Committee which must now consider the Coroners’ Bill) and Finian McGrath (member of the committee) will press for the legislation. Ivana Bacik (member of the committee) has indicated that there is a meeting of the committee next Wednesday 20th Jan 2016; she has said she will raise the issue of Automatic Inquests then.
