If anyone knows children who are being abused please DONT HESITATE to call the proper authorities, don't assume someone else will or don't say to yourself " I'm not getting involved " because You might just save the child from a life of misery and fear and future problems when in adulthood. Did you know that a great number of abused children who were abused by their mothers actually went on to be actual serial killers that we know of today. Signs to look out for are bruises on the body where not visible for eg my teacher when I was 6 years of age that I had bruises on my upper arm but on the inside of my arm where my abuser thought no one would see therefore the teacher alerted the social workers. Of course my abuser played a blinder by pretending to love me and that everything was normal in a loving home however this was only a very thick smokescreen to hide the horrible truth of what was really going on. Look out for distraught withdrawn children, hungry children , malnutrition, pot belly . On many an occasion I was sent to school with no lunch so I robbed other students left overs. We're not in the 1980s anymore so if you suspect abuse of a child please report it.
