AWS isn’t a legal monopoly, but it dominates the cloud market, giving it monopoly-like power.

Its scale, influence, and lobbying make it hard for competitors to thrive, leaving the world vulnerable to outages that affect everyday life.

We demand:

1.) Greater transparency and accountability during outages.

2.) Redundant infrastructure and safeguards to prevent region-wide failures.
3.) A fair, competitive cloud market to reduce dependence on a single provider.

4.) Limits on lobbying that let Big Tech control policy at the expense of the public.

No person, business, or government should be held hostage by one company’s failures.
