On January 20th, our family dog Samson was seized by Cheaha Regional Humane Society. His leash slipped out of his mom's hand during his morning walk, and he was taken into an unknown vehicle. He was immediately posted on an online yardsale site,  then traded for an illegal handgun.  The second group of dog-nappers sent a ransom request for a gun, $240 cash, and narcotics. Samson's family contacted the police, and the hostage was reunited with his family. His doggy joy was short- lived,  however,  when he was seized without cause by the Cheaha Humane Society. The reason?   "He was ours first". 

Please help us bring Sam home to the family that loves him, and out of the stressful shelter environment.  He is a family member... Not a disposable creature just waiting to be euthanized.
