Please vote for me for the Del Mar City Council Election – November 3. If you don’t vote in Del Mar, please tell your friends and family that do.
If I win the election, I can serve as Del Mar’s representative on the board of the North County Transit District (NCTD), where I can more effectively advocate against the fence, both today and in the future. The NCTD tried pushing this fence in 2018, but we organized and stopped them. They are trying again today by seeking federal veto authority. Even if we win this round, they will try again in the future.
The NCTD needs new leadership and new direction. Vote for Dan Quirk and I’ll make sure the NCTD never pushes such terrible ideas again. Access to the bluffs, the beach, and the ocean is the right of every person who lives in or visits Del Mar and all of California.
