We have secured Parliament — 14 October, 1pm.

Fund Future Midwives UK will be holding a mass lobby of Parliament on 14 October at 1pm. This means walking into Parliament, meeting your MP face to face, and telling them directly why newly qualified midwives need jobs and the financial burden.
Open to everyone - students, NQMs, midwives, educators and friends and family. If the workforce crisis affects you or someone you know, you belong here.

This is one of the most powerful things we can do. MPs cannot ignore constituents who show up in person.

✅ What to do before the day:

Find your MP - search your postcode on the UK Parliament website
Email them - tell them you'll be attending the lobby on 14 Oct 2026, 1pm, Westminster
Ask to meet - say you're a constituent and ask if they can meet you there
Tell them why - a couple of sentences on why this matters to you
