Spyware that can be used to monitor people has always existed, especially the ones that governments use. For the most part we have been able to remove them and our privacy kept safe but as companies get more integrated this has gotten worse, from cookies that track you online so you can be served ads like there's no tomorrow to Telemetry data that tracks your PC usage, It has only gotten worse now Microsoft has taken it one step too far with RECALL they now have access to your entire system essentially screen recording you the whole time in every new app opened (DRM protected ones or not). Microsoft is not like GNU/Linux that is open source so you can be confident that the data truly remains local, but everything is closed off and you as the consumer don't know what they see or what is taken from you. Make no mistake THIS IS SPYWARE THAT WILL BE EXPLOITED either through Microsoft or through malicious groups. The next step they will take is to keep your mic open all day long and your camera as well "FOR YOUR BENEFIT". AI only helps them to sort the data and save time on grouping it and identifying what's in it. ONLY WE CAN CHANGE THE PRODUCTS WE USE FOR THE BETTER, WE ARE THE CONSUMERS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PRIVACY AND SECURITY.
