Release the Tsimhoni Children

The Issue

Three siblings in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, ages 14,10, and 9, who refused a court order to see their father have been ordered to a juvenile detention facility until they are 18 years old. The judge has ruled the children be separated inside the juvenile facility and are not allowed any visitors from their mother or her side of the family.

The Tsimhoni family was in Oakland County's family court on June 24th for a hearing on supervised parenting time when Judge Lisa Gorcyca threatened the children, eventually sending them away for refusing to see their father. You can read the court proceedings here.

Their mother appealed for an emergency hearing to the same judge, who has denied it. The next scheduled court date to review the case will be in September. Please sign this petition to show your support in releasing these children from detention and back with family. While there are two sides to every story, signers of this petition believe there are other ways to handle the situation.
