In merito allo sketch tv di Striscia la Notizia del 14 Aprile 2021 sull'occhio a mandorla e sulla ELLE al posto della ERRE sui cinesi.

Non ho detto nulla quando mi chiamavano Color Piscio
Non ho detto nulla quando mi dicevano che ce l’ho piccolo
Non ho detto nulla quando mi dicevano: “Come fai a vedere con quegli occhi così piccoli?!”
Non ho detto nulla quando mi chiamavano Mangiacani a tradimento.
Non ho detto nulla quando mi chiamavano Mangiagatti, siete peggio dei vicentini.

Non ho detto nulla quando mi dicevano “Hai Portato Tu il Virus dalla Cina”
Non ho detto nulla quando mi parlavi con la ELLE al posto della ERRE
Non ho detto nulla quando mi facevi gli occhi a mandorla

Ma oggi, voglio dirti una cosa.
Non si fa umorismo su una minoranza etnica - quando milioni di persone ti guardano in TV in prima serata e milioni di bambini vedranno il tuo video sul web, guarderanno questo sketch comico e faranno questo scenetta ai loro compagni di classe asiatici (non solo cinesi, ma anche filippini, vietnamiti, giapponesi, coreani etc.).
L’elenco di prese in giro è enorme - ed è enorme il bullismo di gruppo che subiscono i bambini di minoranze etniche (BIPOC) in Italia e nel mondo (asiatici, africani, latini ispanici, qualsiasi bambino con caratteristiche fisionomiche diverse)

Accettiamo le scuse di Michelle Hunziker, ma ci piacerebbe sentire le scuse anche degli autori di Striscia la Notizia e magari della rete RTI (Gruppo Mediaset).

Un cambio di rotta sarebbe opportuno - in una società in pieno cambiamento culturale. Perché “non c’è niente da ridere”. E stavolta lo diciamo bene.

I didn't say anything when they called me “Eating Cat”
I didn't say anything when they called me China Virus
I didn't say anything when they told me "You brought the virus from China".
I didn't say anything when they spoke to me with L sound instead of R letter
I didn't say anything when they make slanted eyes in front of me

But today, I want to tell you something.
You should don't do humor about an ethnic minority - when millions of people are watching you on prime time on the TV - millions of Italian kids watching your video on the web, watching this comedy sketch and make this skit to their Asian classmates (not just Chinese, but Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean etc.).
The list of teasing is gorgeous - and the group bullying that ethnic minority children (BIPOC) in Italy and around the world (Asians, Blacks, Hispanic Latinos, any child with different physio gnomic characteristics) is enormous.

We accept Michelle Hunziker's apologies, but we would also like to hear an apology from the authors of Striscia la Notizia and perhaps from the RTI network (Mediaset Group).

A change of course would be appropriate - in a society in the midst of cultural change. Because "there is nothing to laugh about". And this time we mean it well.

Sono rimasto sbalordito, la prima cosa che ho pensato:

- OMG, oh my God! Non ci posso credere. L'hanno veramente trasmesso in onda?

Ora capisco perchè nel 2021, non si può rimanere in silenzio. Io già mi sono spogliato letteralmente del mio pudore, ho raccontato un pezzo di vita e di bullismo.

Spero che possiate capire, raccontare questa storia e condividerla in famiglia, coi vostri amici.

Io intanto, ho tradotto la mia lettera in cinese (grazie al omonimo Wen, Erik, Feifei e Fengmei per la traduzione e correzione!)

但今天，我想告诉你们一件事。
你们不应该把歧视别的族裔当作幽默--当数百万人在电视看到你们的节目-当数百万意大利儿童在网络上看到你们的视频，看到你们所谓的喜剧节目，并模仿你们的节目来取笑他们身边的亚洲同学（不仅仅是中国人，还有菲律宾人、越南人、日本人、韩国人等等）。
在意大利和世界各地的非白人儿童（BIPOC-黑人，土著和有色人种），包括其他亚裔人、非裔人、拉美裔人、任何具有不同体质特征的孩子，都饱受过严重的群体欺凌和歧视。

我们接受Michelle Hunziker的道歉，但我们也希望听到来自Striscia la Notizia主办方，甚至是RTI卫视（Mediaset集团）的道歉。

在这个文化融合的社会中请你们换个幽默方式！别再欺凌我们！因为这真的 "不好笑"。而这一次，我们会明明白白地告诉你们。
