Please help keep THE DAILY PLANET (and other music shows) on ABC Radio National

The issue

Lucky Ocean's iconic radio program THE DAILY PLANET on Radio National is being axed by the ABC. This is an important music program to musicians and music fans alike. They are having a massive cull of all things music on Radio National.
Along with The Daily Planet many other stunning music programs are being axed. In the words of Australian music legend Joe Camelleri, 'these are the go to programs'.

The Australian people need these shows as much as the musicians. Lucky Oceans would play obscure artists right up to well known roots and country artists within the same program. There is no other avenue in Australia for independent artists to be able to receive airplay in this format with a national broadcaster. Especially the Australian artists!

ABC Radio National's The Daily Planet provides a unique window into the world's diverse, traditional and innovative musics from jazz and blues to folk, art music and more. Never before has Australia had such a diverse and important radio show! sadly it will be gone unless we can save it.
