We have submitted a Rule 28(j) letter to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in light of the recent Bowe v. United States Supreme Court decision. This ruling directly impacts the legal issues raised in Michael’s case, particularly the stacking of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c) convictions that resulted in an extreme and disproportionate sentence.

Despite these filings, we have not received any further updates from the Fourth Circuit.

Michael has now spent more than 28 years in federal prison. His clemency petition remains pending, but without public attention, cases like his are too easily overlooked.

We are asking the public to help us keep Michael’s case visible.
Your signatures, shares, and voices are the only reason this case has made it this far.

If you believe in fair sentencing, judicial accountability, and second chances, please continue to share this petition. Increased public support may be the only way to ensure that someone in a position of authority finally takes action.

Thank you for standing with Michael and his family.
