Discussions for adopting SB139 for DE state employees, which would expand infertility health insurance benefits, have been underway for the past few months. We are at a critical stage in this process, which is why I am reaching out to you.

The subcommittee has finalized their recommendations for expanding coverage (which you can see here: https://dhr.delaware.gov/benefits/sebc/documents/sub-comm-2019/0502-hpp-ghip-infertility-benefits.pdf and they will be presenting their recommendations to the full committee this Monday, May 6th at 2pm in Dover DE. They will vote on whether to approve the recommendations on June 10th at 2pm in Dover.

So, all of our advocacy efforts boil down to the vote on June 10th. We are looking for people to attend the meeting to show our support for the expanded coverage.
