A few days ago, a puppy was viciously mauled by three adult dogs at a home in Miami-Dade County.

A horrific video of the incident was posted online. Those who have viewed the video have been left traumatized and unable to erase the sound of the screaming, crying pup from their memories!

(We have not posted the video here because it is truly awful and everyone who has watched it, wishes they had not.)

Miami Dade Animal Control was called and Animal Control Welfare Officers took possession of the pup that was injured and they are treating the pup for her injuries.
However, two more puppies remain at the home and are in danger of life-threatening injuries or death.

A good Samaritan offered to buy the puppies from the owner, but the owner refused.

This petition has been started in order to encourage Miami Dade Animal Control and the Miami-Dade Police Department to take immediate action.

1. Remove the pups that are still in danger from the home where they currently reside.

2. Allow the pup that is currently in the care of Miami Dade Animal Control services to be fostered by a qualified rescue partner or citizen, so she can begin to recover from the traumatic experience she lived through.

3. To hold the person(s) responsible for this matter accountable and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

4. Prevent the person(s) responsible from gaining custody of the puppies again.

As a dog lover, rescue advocate and local citizen of South Florida, I am compelled to be a voice for the voiceless.

Miami Dade Animal Control and Miami-Dade Police Department, please help resolve this matter as quickly as possible!
