This is a petition for MI to begin hosting, sponsoring and promoting a new event in the concert hall on a monthly basis that will be available to ALL students AND teachers. 

An open mic style event with a FULL HOUSE BAND that will be composed of teacher and student volunteers playing through a set list of songs. Any student or teacher can place their name on a time slot to do any of the following (but not limited to):

Perform a set list song with the band playing their instrument of choice

Perform their own song with or without the band

Stream their music video for the audience to see

Sing or play to a backing track

Bring their own band to perform with (cover or original)

Improv jam (think blues, rock, jazz etc)

We are not so far from making this a reality, but will be unable to do so without your (YES YOU) support. If you are reading this, then a part of you most likely wants to see this become a reality.
