$600,000 of Metuchen Taxpayer Money Transfered to Metuchen Downtown Alliance

At last night's Metuchen Parking Authority meeting, the members approved the transfer over the next 5 years to the Borough of Metuchen for the Metuchen Downtown Alliance $600,000 of Metuchen taxpayer money! That's right, citizen of Metuchen taxpayer money is going to fund the Metuchen Downtown Alliance (MDA). Sitting in the meeting, it was apparent that the MDA appears to be a "done deal."
