Hello Petitionee's Yesterday in a unanimous decision Whitchurch Stouffville agreed to allow metrolinx to rip down our tower! I don't believe this has to be the end. For everyone of you who are tired of our town becoming a shell of what it once was take a moment to share this petition on social media! Go to twitter, Facebook, Instagram, call your local newspaper or media outlet and let them know you care! (Make sure to Tag @saveourtower, media outlets and the town and metrolinx.) Show them we won't let our history go without a fight. It's actually quite amazing what united voices can do when they scream loud enough. I'm one person with a full time job who had had a couple minutes here and there everyday to tend to this petition, imagine what we can do together. The wrecking ball has not come out yet, so if you don't give up hope I won't. I challenge every one of you who signed this petition to use your voice and get others involved! Let's get the attention this historical landmark deserves before our town looses everything it once was. I won't stop fighting for the tower until you do.
