This building in my home town of Whitchurch Stouffville is iconic. It represents our past, present and future. And for the sake of 20 or so parking spots this historical landmark is going to be torn down. It's important to preserve our history and with Stouffville in the midst of growth and change it's so important that we preserve our past. This building has stood in the same place for my entire life and many lifetimes before mine. It's a tragedy that the fate of this building seems doomed for a "paved paradise." I understand progress is a part of this world, but how can we expect this generation and future generations to understand and value the life they have when we tear down the history that has gotten us here. We spend so much more on so much less. So let's prove to Metro Links and The Town of Whitchurch Stouffville that we care about our history and won't become a "paved paradise." Lets Save Our Tower!
