I can't thank you all enough for signing this petition. But the fight to save the grain elevator is not over!! Now we must act quickly and spread the word on this petition! metrolinx is using this petition against us. They are using the fact that there are only 400 signatures as a reason to tare it down! They think not enough people care about this building to make it worth saving! We need to prove them wrong befor they pull out the wreckingball. As they have made the majority of their decisions regarding the elevator, metrolinx made a sneaky secret decision behind close doors yesterday to take the elevtor down! ALL FOR 20 parking spots! We must act quickly and save the elevator that made stouffville what it is today. Without this tower Stoufville grain farmers may have not prospered the way they did which resulted in our economic growth, and our town may not have we to be the way we all know it today. This building deserves more respect then to become a "paved paradise!" So PLEASE do your part and spread this petition on social media! I will continue to be an advocate for this building until the moment it is gone, and I hope all of you will too!
