Mesa County Can't Trust Tina: Clerk Tina Peters was on vacation while 600 ballots remained uncounted in the 2019 election. Peters refuses to count the remaining ballots despite claiming in her own press release "the assurance that every ballot is counted and every voice is heard is of paramount importance to the integrity of the election." Out 161 ballots audited, 1.9% of ballots were determined to have discrepancies. Peters needs to resign and be replaced with a Clerk that voters can trust.
