Hi everyone,
I’m really pleased to share that the Revive Mitcham Eastfields petition has now passed 1,500 signatures.
Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and supported this campaign so far — it genuinely means a lot, and it shows just how many people care about the future of Mitcham.
This petition was created to bring together the key issues residents have been raising, including:
- Improving rail services at Mitcham Eastfields
- Strengthening and revitalising the town centre
- Making our green spaces safer and more usable
- Supporting regeneration and growth in the area
- Improving the everyday public spaces we all rely on
We are now moving into the next phase — using this strong and growing resident mandate to push for clearer next steps, accountability, and real progress across these areas.
I’ll continue to keep you updated as conversations develop and as we hear back from the council, Network Rail, and other stakeholders.
In the meantime, if you know others locally who care about Mitcham, please do continue to share the petition — the more voices we have, the stronger the case for change.
Thanks again for your support.
Ben
