Hope you have all had a wonderful festive period, however you celebrate!

Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared the Revive Mitcham Eastfields petition. We’ve now passed 1,037 signatures, with strong local support continuing to grow.

This morning, I have followed up with Merton councillors and Merton Council to formally push for next steps. I’m also pleased to confirm that Dame Siobhain McDonagh MP has written to Network Rail on residents’ behalf, and Leonie Cooper AM is aware of the campaign.

This campaign is about opening real conversations around better transport, a stronger town centre, accessibility for elderly and disabled residents, and properly supported green spaces.
