Hi everyone,
First of all — thank you so much for signing and supporting this petition to bring real, meaningful improvements to Mitcham Eastfields and the wider area.
This isn’t just about more trains — it’s about safer roads, better town planning, proper infrastructure, cleaner green spaces, and making Mitcham a more vibrant and connected place for all of us. With 1,500+ new flats being built, we urgently need better public services, transport, and investment — not just empty promises.
📣 Good news: we’ve already had a response from an MP with strong ties to Mitcham, who we’re now in direct contact with. This is a huge step forward — but we need to bring this to the attention of our local Merton MP, and that’s where YOU come in.
✅ The more signatures we have, the more power we have to demand action.
Please:
- Share the petition with friends, neighbours, WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
- Post it on local forums, community noticeboards or shop windows.
- Encourage others to comment, engage and share their thoughts — this helps our case grow even stronger.
Every extra signature makes a difference — we’re being listened to, but now we need to amplify our voice.
Thank you again — let’s keep the momentum going and make Mitcham Eastfields the place we all know it can be.
