As more and more homes are built near Mitcham Eastfields — including over 1,500 new flats — our local infrastructure simply isn’t keeping up.

❌ Our Green space is only cared for by residents 
❌ Trains are still only every 30 minutes
❌ No Underground links
❌ A tired town centre with too few shops
❌ No retail options like Sainsbury’s or high street favourites you’d find in Balham or Tooting

We deserve better. That’s why I’ve launched a petition calling on Merton Council to:

🚆 Increase train frequency to every 15 minutes
🚇 Reopen talks with TfL about extending the Bakerloo, Northern or Victoria Line
🏙 Revamp the town centre with more shops, better public space, and community services
🛍 Match retail growth to population growth — not fall behind
