In the last 5 days, 2,500 more people have joined the call to #redefineblack! Both your signature and your sharing of this petition are making the difference to end the perpetuation of anti-Blackness and prejudice in the definition of the words "Black" + "Dark" as they are taught to very young children in dictionaries like Merriam-Webster. You are helping to make certain that each new generation recalls that we are all members of the same human family and deserve not to be judged by the color of our skin.

THE BLACKFLIP
We have launched a website www.theBlackFlip.com where we will share valuable information re: the progressive thought leaders (individuals, communities, organizations, and corporations) that are removing the cruel bias that teaches us to demonize blackness. The site will also include videos, research, and articles that celebrate the ways that this shift is improving lives - as well as maintaining a list of ways that we can continue the practice of evolved thoughts, words, and actions.

We greatly appreciate it, if you could share the petition. Our next goal is 5,000 signatures. We are currently at 3,292!
