Save Shepton Mallet's Community Theatre - Let's Keep Up Momentum!

Thank you so much for signing the petition to try and save this vital community space in Shepton Mallet - we've reached 127 signatures and now have a growing body of residents and organisations supporting the campaign. We are really keen to keep up momentum so thought we would share with you a few more vital ways you can make your voice heard.

1. Most importantly - please register comments on Mendip District Council's Planning Wesbite (application reference 2020/1414). Any comments left here will be taken into consideration at the final decision meeting. Comments should specifically address the Material Planning Considerations (find out more about these on this link) as well as proposed change of use.

2. Please share this information and petition with your friends, family and contacts!

3. Join us for a press photo this Friday - Shepton Mallet Market Place outside the Amulet, 4th September at 11:30am. All welcome (please adhere to social distancing for the photos).

4. Write to your Mendip Councillors to register your concerns about proposed developments. Details here:
