Findings within the UK National Audit Office report 10th July 2020

- the five week wait is exacerbating debt.                                                  - 80% of poor claimants have their first payment docked                          - admin cost is up 1.4 billion to 4.6 billion                                                  - each claim costs £301 to administer                                                        - £1 in every £10 paid wrongly due to fraud or error
