Official response from the CEO of FedHealth Jeremy Yatt, the treatment is promising but we wont fund

Hi there, TimesLive have carried an article on this battle, I've attached it below. Please see the quote by Jeremy Yatt who is the CEO of FedHealth. They say that the treatment is PROMISING but there is no high quality evidence that it works and works any better than current treatments which they will fund and furthermore that they won't fund on emotional factors. Really? That's logical? They admit treatment is promising - on what do they base that? Emotional factors? Obviously not. Fedhealth have been provided with published evidence of efficacy. This is not some herbal treatment, it's not a mixture of newt's tongue and extract of beetroot. This is a treatment that has been tested internationally, with evidence strong enough for the FDA to endorse it for further trials and make it available to patients in the USA. The FDA of all organisations is not driven to approve treatment on emotional grounds. The fact is that this is a treatment that has delivered very positive results. FedHealth knows this because published evidence has been provided, the nuclear medicine team at SBAH has also offered to present it to them but Fedhealth aren't interested in having those meetings. They also wont provide me with the name of the nuclear physician on their "panel of experts" - So I'm not even sure that there is one. It's also working for me, which is pretty compelling. High quality research they do have gives people in the position I am a median lifespan of 2 to 3 years. What Fedhealth DO know is that what they will fund DOESN'T WORK, but do they care? Not in the slightest, if there is an out. The Fedhealth brand promise is "family looking after family" Just another empty promise.
