I was informed by dr Sjarif, Medical Council stopped this Surgery from practising on 11 Feb 2016 Contraries to Medical Council answer of “voluntary retirement “ to patient demand of explanation, he was forced by the Council against his will. The doctor was black mailed and forced to resign. He was framed and for 4 years and he was forced to endure Council program of continuing harassment, bullying, black mailing and violation of his basic human right with continuing threat of suspension for non-compliance. Medical Council has been absolute tyrant to Dr Sjarif At the end of last year he decided to quit the program On 11 Feb he was suspended after 12 hrs prior phone call. It was brutal decision by the Council without consideration for our welfare, the patients, the very function for its reason to exist 38 Year of continuing care, which all his patient have received and expected daily, suddenly ceases without warning, It was total disaster, we could not believe it was happening Panic not knowing, who to turn to for our medical care, especially for some who have very sick member of the family he have been caring for them. It was an inhuman and heartless act of cruelty by the faceless man and woman of Medical Council with no compassion. We were angry and thought the Council as faceless bunch of thoughtless bastard for the action for suspending our doctor. We were hoping those bureaucrat running the Council, as members of humankind would have a bit of common sense and decency at least to give the doctor suspended suspension for a period few months, even few weeks. He will get a chance then to organised his patient alternative care …..And we were wrong. He told us about a patient came to see him Her father show her, the letter from the dr Sjarif about surgery raid and violation of our private files by Council GP's. He was angry. She was worried and wanted reassurance the integrity of her private file was intact. Her father described Medical Council as a dictatorial institution with white Australia policy, and how his father died in WW2 fighting the regime with same ideology as the Council. The Council has purposely made it impossible for him to resume practicing with draconian and humiliating condition and we refused to accept to cooperate because the condition will be violation of our privacy. His lawyer advised him to resign, because other alternative was cruel, humiliating scenarios which Medical Council will force him to go through and it will destroy him mentally and financially. Instead of locking the door of the surgery and walkout as advised by his lawyer, he decided to stay. For 3 months after being suspended the doctor and his wife attended surgery daily to help and support us, his patients. There were a lot of tears, and none of us could believe it is happening in Australia. 38 years of loyalty, in response to his compassion and good medical care mean nothing to Medical Council. On 11 May the door to this Surgery closed permanently. But he let us know we still have his mobile and his home phone number. And he told us, we can still him contact him like we always did for whatever reason we want to discuss. Being framed to fulfill revenge of the Powerful 29 July 2010 Mrs M found died in bed and Dr Sjarif was called Being her GP for 30 years he issued death Certificate Her youngest son wish her mother referred to Coroner He knew family home has been willed to his sister who moved in to look after mother after death of father He was known to be unhappy with losing inheritance Coroner accept the referral and inquest was arranged which later aborted 23/12/2011 the doctor forgot to attend Judge Mary Yerram inquest and she was not happy She and Forensic Doctor Johan Duffou fabricated accusation of medical incompetence and reported doctor to Medical Council It was false claim, yet Medical Council determined to seek proof for their accusation 38 Years he have been practicing as GP, there was not a single complain from patient nor medical associate he work with to Medical Board, or any Health Regulator, Since the Council did not have anything to use against dr Sjarif the Council decided to create one. Medical Council used GP's on their payroll and coerced them with promised immunity to violate patient private file look for clues it can use. Like all doctors Council GP's have all sworn to uphold Hippocrates oath unconditionally when graduated to be a doctor. There was no exception to the oath, even for Medical Council Violators of the oath ethically and morally deemed not fit to be doctors. The doctors have prostituted their service to Medical Council by violating their Hippocrates oath for monetary gains. The Council ignored the violation and used their opinions only, engineered to legitimise Council decision of dr Sjarif medical incompetence The Council purposely to made no attempt to seek opinion of competency from specialist who shared of his patients care for the last 39 years nor from any of his patients Despite Council own GP of subjecting dr Sjarif into 4 Years of never ending program of bullying intimidations and humiliation causing never ending stress and misery, he refused to resign Council call its program continuing “Medical Education” Because he was deemed not cooperative enough, the Council decided he has mental illness, and forced him to see Council own psychiatrist Dr Chanaka Wijeratne of English St, Kogarah He diagnosed him of having Dementia! We have never thought that the Council will stoop so low to smear him We have known him for the last 38 years, and none of us doubted his mental state, even for the last 4 years going through Council program and mentally he was traumatised severely He told us of his struggle to cope with the program, fear to quit which mean instant suspension, and unable to provide medical Service to patients Every year the Council increase the pressure to break him He managed to go for 4 years and run out steam At the end of last year with no end in sight, he decided he had enough and quit Council program The very decision that the Council has been waiting for, and it took the Council 4 years of constant bullying, black mailing and intimidation before he gave in Medical Council, suspended him from practising 11Feb2016 Medical Council is a Dictatorial organisation, a law into itself, full of self-importance and totally detached to our need which it supposed to care for We were at lost, to know how such organisation exist in democratic Australia All of us were furious and angry, loss of our doctor and want him back We demand disciplinary action for violation of our privacy and criminal investigation for the Council fraudulence decision We have written letter of complain to our local and federal member and all media outlet and they were totally ignored us or just brushed us off Media seem not interested in miscarriage of justice against doctors, and its only news in doctor wrong doing Federal /Local Member of Parliament seem to ignored the wrong doing and did nothing This Australia with its Justice system at its best and we are ashamed of it Everyone is Guilty until Proven Innocent Medical Council System of Justice That our conclusion after dr Sjarif story 4 years at the brutal end of Medical Council system of Justice Medical Council has combine function of the Judge, the Jury and the Prosecutor roll in one. Our GP dr Sjarif was one of its victims. Our GP doctor Sjarif was framed being medical incompetence and Medical Council treated he was guilty It has been reported widely in medical news that Medical Council was renowned to use brutal and senseless way to run its system of Justice and has used it year after year against hundreds of doctors regardless of their guilt or severity of their offenses. All those doctors have suffered physically and mentally, resulting with family dysfunction, struggling with their private and professional life They have no legal right, or prohibit ally expensive, afraid to complain which can result disciplinary action, suspended from work and lost of income, bad publicity the Council threatened to publish which bring shame and loss integrity. They have no choice but to continue the program, and suffered but with mortgage to pay and children schooling, practicing medicine is the only they know to survive. Majority apparently developed mental illness and attempted suicide, feeling alone, abandoned and helpless. Breakdown family unit on most, even those found not guilty. The damage was irreversible. Dr Sjarif showed to us articles in his weekly Medical publication which quoted Medical Council chief play down traumatic effect to affected doctors. Medical fraternity knew about the practice and choose to ignore it, or legally prevented to interfere. Media will quick to exposed medical wrong doing, which big news but medico who has unfairly treated and affected his whole families and no body cares. It has been a common knowledge among medical fraternity but No body dares to complain publicly. All of those distinguished Australian, the giant of humanity, science, medicine and law, as a patron of Medical Council would be horrified and ashamed if they knew what they were supporting.
