The petition was never meant to be against one individual, or anything personal, the particular individual who posted the misogynistic tweet has really realized his mistake and publicly apologized. There is little point in pursuing any action against him now. However, we need to continue our concentrated efforts to continue to call out sexists and misogynists in our media. It is only together that we can all lift up the standards of media and reporting in our country. Let this also be a victory for people who think "kuch nahee badlay ga", together we can make a change. Every small change we make will hopefully have a snowball effect and act as the catalyst for more good in the future. Thank you all for all your support!
