SOLD OUT
That was the message that welcomed me on the 28th of August. Sold. Out. After working for it for months, both of us having 2 jobs, it is sold out even though they just opened the general sale in that moment. Really? Really?
Here's the story if you don't know me and my best friend Fiammetta who is also my hero.
I never believed in myself or that my drawings worth anything. It took Fiammetta months to convince me that I am good enough. MONTHS. I am not kidding at all. People kept saying that I am good but I've never believed them until this girl came around. She took me to Comic Con where other artists and people that I look up to (Troy Baker, Sebastian Stan, Manu Bennett, Ben Barnes etc.) were telling me that I should be out there selling my artworks. And I started to believe, I started to feel like I can do it, that I actually deserve this. Fiammetta went up and above to help me get there, she did everything she possibly could, falling into bed after working all day so we can have the money, I'm working on new artworks and everything that we need to promote every day.
We got the money together with the help of others but we got it together and we were ready. Even though we signed up for the Dealer's update we've never got any which freaked us out and almost got a heart attack when one of collaegue let us know that the priority sale already started. We almost lost hope but they assured us that the general sal will be fine and we can get our table there.
Once again, I can't say this enough WE HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT
And it was sold out... even though we were on the page on time… it was sold out.... my world came crashing down on me. I was heart broken.
THIS CAN'T HAPPEN NOT WHEN THIS IS THE LAST THING WE HAVE TO DO, NOT WHEN EVERYTHING IS READY FOR THIS BIG JOURNEY.
