Resolution 20-444 was passed by McKellar Council calling for 2 electric vehicle charging stations be installed at the McKellar Township Office.  The project carries a price tag of $200,000, with plans to seek some incentive rebate from the Ontario Government.  

By signing this petition, you would like our elected representatives to cancel this project. 

There is little benefit to the vast majority of McKellar residents, both seasonal and full time.  Please ask yourself:

• Who is going to drive to the town office located on hwy 124 to charge their vehicle for a period of time?
• How many people would actually do this in a day, month, season, year?

This petition doesn't speak to other avenues this money should be spent, just that this is not best use of tax dollars or debt for the current residents of McKellar.
