In the interests of local businesses and generating extra foot traffic in Helston, Cornwall. I would like to propose a McDonald's be built in the town centre.

Helston easily has the passing traffic to have a franchise fast food outlet, the local Tesco and Sainsbury's supermarkets are large, which clearly that the shops here service a large area. The nearest Mackie-Dee's are a 20+ minutes drive away (even longer in the summer or at rush hour). Local people without access to a car struggle to get there as there aren't many buses that go directly to a Mackies.

A McDonald's would really enhance the entire town, people could go to McDonald's for a Big Mac, parents could take their kids for the happy meal and enjoy some peace while they play with the free toy. The affordable prices would make it great for a hangover snack or even a first date

I would also be happy with a Burger King as the quality of burger is higher but unfortunately so is the price, also the chips aren't as good as McDonalds.

I'm not sure who has the authority to build a McDonald's restaurant but hopefully if we get enough signatures someone important will take note and listen to the will of the people of the historic town of Helston.
